The fee could be a sign the Cybertruck might be a smaller release than expected, experts said. AdvertisementTesla's rescinded $50,000 resale fee is the latest sign the Cybertruck won't hit the market in large numbers anytime soon. These restrictions are rare, but they're most commonly used on limited-production vehicles, Stephen Beck, founder and managing partner of consultancy cg42, told Business Insider. "It's really hard to say how many people on the reservation list will actually buy it," Moody told Business Insider. "There will be just as many people who want to work the system to make money as people who want to own this vehicle," Moody said.

A French car collector offers just that in a new car museum south of Paris. The Chevelle is not for hire, but Galiegue's Movie Cars Central operation offers paying visitors the chance to take a spin in more than 10 mostly U.S.-made vintage car models that have featured in movies. One of those cars for hire is a DeLorean, transformed to resemble the time-travel machine from the 1985 film "Back to the Future". He owns 12 cars from the Fast and Furious series, eight of which are originals. The museum will soon have three new cars including one from the 1987 RoboCop movie.

The Japanese conglomerate put in its offer to the European Commission on Thursday, the same day it requested EU clearance for the deal, an EU regulatory filing showed on Friday. The EU competition enforcer, which set a Nov. 6 deadline for its decision, did not provide details of the remedies in line with its policy. The company had sought EU approval in October last year but withdrew its application a month later. The deal underscores the consolidation in the rail industry, with independent players teaming up with bigger industrial groups. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) in August narrowed its concerns, saying the deal would not substantially lessen competition in the supply of communications-based train control signalling systems in the UK.

A crypto exchange backed by financial giants Charles Schwab , Fidelity Digital Assets and Citadel Securities has officially launched trading in four crypto assets, the company said Tuesday. EDX Markets first announced its launch plans for a "non-custodial" exchange in September, about two months before the collapse of FTX. The EDX exchange allows trading of bitcoin , ether , litecoin and bitcoin cash – none of which were named "crypto asset securities" in the lawsuits the Securities and Exchange Commission brought against Binance and Coinbase two weeks ago. EDX also has plans to launch a clearinghouse business this year to facilitate the settlement process but will still keep customer assets held at third-party banks and a crypto custodian. The company is set to announce Tuesday that it has closed a second funding round with new investors, including the options-exchange operator Miami International Holdings and affiliates of proprietary trading firms DV Trading, GTS, GSR and Hudson River Trading.

"It's a two-sided equation here," Reggie Browne, principal of GTS, told Bob Pisani on CNBC's 'ETF Edge' on Monday. "If you look at the entire suite of regional bank ETFs, they're picking up assets." While regional bank ETFs continue to tumble, the funds still netted more than $105 million in inflows within the past month, according to FactSet. Flows were largely into the SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF (KRE) , which pulled in $108 million during the same period. The dividend yield on the KRE stands at 3.84%, while the SPDR S&P Bank ETF (KBE) offers 3.59%.
